Ghostie Goo and Taco Lady by Knadow-the-Hechidna
Ghostie Goo and Taco Lady
It looks like Sonata took a wrong turn somewhere trying to get to Taco Bell or something and somehow ended up in the Ghost Zone.
Sorry for jumping on a joke that everyone else has done to death and primarily revolves around "gee doesn't this character totally look like THIS character"?
Been a little while since I shaded with something other than purple. Nice to switch it up and use green for a change.
Sonata Dusk is property of Hasbro while Ember Mclain belongs to Nickelodeon.
Done in Photoshop in probably about two hours or so.

In order to support the growing cost of living semi-independently and attending college (to study animation), I have decided to open myself up for commissions.

For a set price I will do a piece of your mare, stallion, colt or filly OC. For my available options I am comfortable doing earth ponies, pegusi, and unicorns. I can also do pieces of non-standard/non-pony creatures with the prices adjusted accordingly. Unfortunately due to their more complex designs it will take more time to finish and therefore cost more. The things on this list include, but are not limited to:

• Alicorns

• Griffons

• Sirens, Merponies or any other variation on Sea Ponies

• Complex wings, manes, tails, accessories, body markings, etc.

• Ponies with “Rainbow Power”

At this time I will NOT be taking requests for Equestria Girls, “anthro” or otherwise humanoid characters. This may or may not change in the future, depending on if my ability to draw humans improves. As of right now it is not good enough to be reasonably priced for the amount of work it would take.

Please note that I also have the right to refuse any commissions I deem inappropriate or against my personal standards. I WILL NOT DRAW PORNOGRAPHIC, RACIST, DESCRIMINATING or OTHER CHARACTERS OR POSES I FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE DRAWING.

Outside of original characters, I will also draw show characters in original poses, pony versions of pre-existing persons or characters, and show characters “cosplaying” as other characters.

My options are as follows:

Sketches (5$): Done on sketch paper in pencil. Scanned in digitally and edited lightly to ensure all lines are clearly visible.
Example:

Black and White Lineart (10$): Brought into Photoshop and redrawn in black. The “body” pf the drawing is filled in with white.

Colour (12$): Both linework and white fill are coloured in “show style”.

Shading (15$): Shading, highlights, and a unifying colour overlay are added in gradients.

I am also available to make colour cutie marks for 8$ each.

In order to work from the prices above (for full ponies), a full reference image is required. This can be anything from a piece done by another artist to something made using ponymaker. Elaborate word-based descriptions may also be used in replacement. If I am forced to work with minimal direction, or design completely from scratch, I will charge 3 to 8$ more, depending on how much work is spend in the design phase.

Updates on progress will be relatively frequent. After each “stage” will be the minimum number of progress reports, but I will aim to confirm poses, linework, colour palettes and shading before they are finalized. These will be sent either by email or the DeviantART note system. This will be my main way of communicating with clients.

To ensure I receive full payment, I ask that an extra 5$ down payment be paid in advance. I don’t want a plethora of “dine-and-dashers”. I will be accepting PayPal. Without inputting an address, select the “pay for goods and services” tab on the PayPal website and input my email address (scarletquill@hotmail.com) and either the 5$ pre-payment or the cost of the commission itself. Make sure that you put your dA username or email address somewhere so that I know who the payment came from. I will NOT be accepting payment in dA “points”.

Discounts may be considered for returning clients, and for extended wait times within my control. At this time, I will be taking three commission slots at a time. The first three to be done will be completely finished before I take more. If the first few sets go smoothly, I will consider increasing my limit to five at a time. Each set will be posted in a separate journal, and will be “scratched off” as they are completed.

As a reminder, the process will go as follows:

    1.      A commission is requested via email/note.

    2.      Commissions are either accepted or denied, and references and/or more detailed descriptions are asked for and received.

    3.      Initial payment is received.

    4.      Rough pose sketches are completed and shared for clarification.

    5.      Various stages of the piece are completed and shown for further confirmation.

    6.      Final piece is completed, posted to dA and emailed.

    7.      Final payment is received.

Below is a link to some examples of dynamic poses I am capable of, as well as an example of a more complex pony design.

Please note that I hold copyright to my art, and I MUST be contacted if my art is to be used in prints, promotional material, merchandise, or any other items I do not personally create. I am NOT authorizing the use of my art in “bases”.

With dimensions provided and for a small extra fee I am also willing to create desktop wallpapers or phone backgrounds using commissioned art.

Please contact me for via dA notes or at scarletquill@hotmail.com for any further inquiries.

Thank you to any and all of you for even considering commissioning work from me.

Pony Commission Complex Example by Knadow-the-Hechidna
Pony Commission Complex Example
An example of a more complex pony that would cost slightly more than the set price due to how much extra work it would take.

Check my commission journal for other items and information on how you can order one.

Depends on what it is and what I have time for. I am currently attending a university-level animation course and much of my time is dedicated to my studies.
If it's something with a wide interest and something I'm fond of, maybe.
If you're asking me to draw an OC or something, sorry pal, but I don't have time for it. Maybe when and if I open myself up for commissions I'll consider that type of stuff.

Never really got around to finding a new one that'd fit. That and I'm too lazy.

Oh sorry, hey there.
